Job Profile

❖ To cross-check the customer sample analysis analyzes by the analysis team such as count, construction, GSM, yarn technology i.e. ring/ring slub, OE/Amsler, Le-Twist/TFO/Siro, Grindle, space-dyed, etc.

❖ To develop the required product by assessing the feasibility of the required product in the mill set up.

❖ To understand the customer requirements for a fabric and offer a viable solution, if available.

❖ To ensure that the yarn required for the product is feasible in the spinning units of the organization while ensuring the availability of the raw material to sample the same.

❖ To co-ordinate with the dyeing team in case of yarn dyed product and check for any limitation for a certain product in terms of raw material dye-ability and technology.

❖ To verify if the required product can be woven on the available looms and designate the type of loom required while anticipating any technical or operational difficulty that could arise during the bulk production of that product.

❖ To make a preliminary assessment of the hand-feel and appearance of the fabric and consult the processing and printing team to achieve the same if the need be.❖ To develop the product by studying the previously developed products, upon ensuring the spinning, weaving, dyeing, processing, nishing, and printing feasibility of the same.

❖ To assess any scope for process optimization and improvement in the current set up and undertake projects to improve the same.

❖ To address any operational problems in the department with a solution, with a solution- approach and take initiative to ensure smooth working of the department.

❖ To study new literature available in the market and try to broaden the product catalogue of the organization.

❖ To guide and dissipate knowledge to the subordinate staff in case of any technical difficulty faces by them.

❖ Taking follow-up for first bulk and verifying the same. Handling CCI loom programs, new design, and related activities.

❖ Responsible for the Quality of sample fabric & attend machines for various types of fabric faults.
